I have caught up with all of my shows so far this week. Minor spoilers below for a number of things.

Community was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen, and I was laughing and clapping like a loon through the whole thing. Dan Harmon's utter despise for Glee is a beautiful thing. Modern Family was adorable as usual. Big Bang Theory made me have thinky thoughts about bullies and how what bullies see as having fun the victims see as horrible, and that is sort of why some geeks hate Big Bang Theory and see it as looking down on geeks while others think it's just having fun. So meta, BBT!

Other shows, it was just like, oh here I am again, checking in with these people I like and seeing how they are doing. How are Prentiss and Hotch and Morgan? Oh, they are catching horrific bad guys, as usual. How are Mike and Fi and Jesse? They are concocting over-elaborate plans to bring down badness and protect the innocent, as usual. How are the kids at Lima High? Oh, they are melodramatic and OTT and sometimes charming, as usual. (Red Solo Cup was my favorite.)

Not to mention, how are Danno and Steven and Chin and Kono? Oh, they are beautiful and smart and badass and adorable, and Chin driving a back-ho is SO HOT. Who knew the man knew construction equipment? But then, why should we be at all surprised? This is CHIN HO KELLY, BITCHES.

The latest episode of Grimm was rather torturous for me, though. So many adorable wee ratties! I wanted to pet them aalllllllll. And many of them were little brown Berkshires, berkies, and oh, they made me miss my Bartleby. ::sniff:: Also, Monroe is adorable and his over-earnest speech was so cute, and he would totally turn my life around if he came to my house and ever-so-earnestly urged me to make something good out of my life.

Two important things:

If you are not watching Raising Hope, you ought to be, because it is adorable and hilarious and there's nothing about it that I don't love. See if you can catch all the malaprops! Including one of the word "malaprop"!

Also, if you are not watching Person of Interest, you ought to be, if only because of Detective Carter. I have huge hearts in my eyes for that woman, especially after the last episode. But really, I love all of the main characters, and even have a soft spot for Fusco. It's a great show, original premise, interesting characters with backstories circumspectly and wisely revealed, intense acting and engrossing plots. Highly recommended.

Community Whatever Number That Episode Was )

Maybe more tomorrow? There are more shows sitting in my folder that I'm trying to watch before I have to send this laptop off to get the disk repaired. That red box that keeps popping up makes me really nervous.

Watched the pilots of those two fairy tale TV shows today. Once Upon a Time...eh. I'll give it a few eps. Only thing I really have to say is that a handsome man cradling a baby in one arm and sword-fighting with the other is fricking hot, on a very id level. Like...all you could want in a man. Physical prowess and a nurturing instinct. Y/MFY?

Grimm was...so SPN. So very, very SPN. I liked it a lot. Liked the relationship between the cop and his partner. If this show gets a fandom, I expect there to be lots of slash with those two. Also maybe with the blutbad. He was cute. Though Dean would kill him because though he might not be killing right now, he used to. :P

They are both currently being tracked on my sidereel.com calendar.

Ugh, I've been so careful, but it's so easy to mess up this whole new dietary thing. This morning my family had pancakes, and my mom, who is very understanding of and interested in my issues, made them super healthy, with wheat germ and oat bran and buckwheat flour and stuff. So I made my own syrup out of mixed berries and xylitol, because I can't use regular syrup, and stayed away from the sweetened applesauce and stuff. (They even put sugar in breakfast sausage, did you know?) But I forgot that fruit juice is a problem, too, and poured a big old glass of oj (NOT EVEN SWEETENED) and gulped it down with my pancakes, and yeah. Dizziness. It hits me really fast with any kind of fruit juice. THIS MAKES ME SO SAD, YOU GUYS. I'VE ALWAYS LOVED JUICE.

It's passed now, but this whole thing is irritating. I'll get used to it eventually, but I hate that there are so many things that make me sick.

In other news, I am having THOUGHTS about Supernatural. This new season has been really interesting so far, and yes, I loved episode three to TEENY TINY WEENY LITTLE BITS. My adoration for a certain BAMFy blue-eyed dickwad, let me show you it. So perhaps I will write something about that later.

I've also been watching a lot of Whose Line lately. And House. You guys know how rarely I ship things, yes? But I think I might just ship House/Wilson. The subtext has become text one time too many. Also Colin/Ryan--I gets it, I do. There is an awful lot of kissing in that show.

My back thing, bug bite, Lyme disease or-whatever-it-is seems to be back and causing more trouble. I've just been so horribly exhausted lately, sleeping too long and having a really hard time waking up, and yesterday I had this really strange and disconcerting period of numbness and cold in my arms and legs. From what I read, Lyme's disease can take several rounds of antibiotics to knock out, so I've seen the doctor and gotten another prescription, plus for some Prenizone for the rash, which still hasn't gone away.

I'm just so tired lately. It sucks. I want to write. I have ideas, I had things I wanted to write for my castielfest prompts, but we had spotty internet for a few days and the next thing I knew, it was too late. (Someone pinch-hit for me and did a marvelous job, though.) Maybe I'll do the prompts later, if it's okay with my should-have-been recipient. I want to write, I want to participate and rec and talk and discuss, but I'm just utterly drained.

I've been watching a lot of TV, because that doesn't take much energy. Burn Notice is fantastic, in case you ever wondered. I also watched everything that's available of another USA show, Royal Pains, and now I understand why people like hospital shows--it's televised H/C! Definitely the fluffiest and least deep of the shows I've been watching, but it's like candy to me and I can't wait for the next episode to air so I can grab it. I've kept up with Psych, Leverage, and White Collar. I also have almost finished the first season of Mad Men, which is amazing, but also rather awful (the culture is so poisonous, I just don't understand how anyone could have lived like that). And I've started on Fringe, too. Walter and Peter are pretty damn adorable and Olivia is among the more heart-breakingly amazing women I've ever come across.

Of the new shows I've started watching, though, Burn Notice is definitely my favorite. Something has finally finally gotten my obtuse little gen-goggled heart to ship something--Michael/Fiona, man, I am all about Michael/Fiona. It helps that they are both fantastic, fun, well-rounded characters who are clearly perfect for each other, and their reasons for not being together (or being together, off and on) aren't annoying and stupid like most TV UST. (Hank/Jill on Royal Pains, I'm looking at you. You're BORING.)

I also ship the Winchester Impala and the Westen Charger. They would make sweet, sweet glossy black love and have beautiful and powerful car-babies, I have no doubt.

Okay, I have to drag my butt out of my bed and go work for a few hours. I want to make a rec post later, though. I've read some awesome stuff lately.
