This is probably kinda my fault for having a big flist and reading so widely, and I hate wank and never want to get involved, but I've seen some stuff lately that bothers me, so. (Keeping this vague because if you don't know what this is about already, you don't need to know. Don't go looking for this stuff, srsly, it makes your life difficult.)

Listen, you guys, I consider all of you my friends, even if you only friended me for the fic and never comment, that's fine, I still care about you. I see people being worried and upset and taking sides, and I don't like to see my flisters not feeling good about fandom and what happens there. So please, before you take a side and get all up in arms, you should really try to find out all the information you can and not just take it from one source. A private (fan-run!) organization has the right to follow their own policies, and I don't think they've done anything wrong. This is just my perspective, of course, from reading a bunch of posts and following links all the way down the rabbit hole, because I'm too curious for my own good sometimes.

I expect this will all make Fandom Wank sooner or later, so you can probably find the whole story there eventually, if you want to. This is all I have to say about it.

(Yes, after thinking about what wanted from this, I realized that it was really All About Castiel. Because I love him. If you don't, I'm sorry, you probably won't enjoy this party. Have some cake?)

We have a two-fold theme: To celebrate the awesomeness that is BAMF!Cas (that's BadAss MotherFucker, fyi), and to get some more schmoop into fandom, which has been kind of heavy on the angst and angel-torture lately. Naturally I expect there to be mostly stuff with Castiel, Dean, and Sam, or some variegation of the three (all three together is my favorite). But all are welcome as long as Castiel plays a role.

I'm sorry for not posting much lately except twitterspam. I've been sick for a week now and unwilling to do much of anything besides read fic and watch movies. I feel really bad for letting things go, though, especially spngenlove. I keep thinking that I need to make a rec post today and then forgetting ALL DAY LONG. Fail. Massive fail. People are still reccing very cool stuff, though. I will try to get on top of it again.

And, if you haven't realized it, I do use my twitter basically as an insta-rec stream, sometimes. My YouTubes faves get automatically posted there, and occasionally I put other links up, too. For instance, unoshot and lassiterfics took one of my sharp_teeth prompts and created AWESOME.

I also keep linking Axe Cop there, because I still can't get over how amazing it is, and I recently blathered about Hark! A Vagrant, too. Especially this comic, which reminds me of lot of tracy_loo_who's Wee Baby Cas Things fic (also recommended), and also @IAmCastiel over on twitter, who seems rather taken with the small furry folk.

Oh, and this! Gorillaz is a virtual band with a very cool video style. It even has a bit of fandom, apparently. And someone made a music vid with Gorillaz clips to the Safety Dance. SO FREAKIN' META. I love it. I love it hard.
