A Little Bit of Gushiness

maychorianMust tell you, oh, it's very important, that BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (the new one) is amazing, amazing, amazing, and everyone must watch it and squee and fall in love and agree with me that it's awesome and if you don't you suck. (Not really, I'll still love you. But I will call you a silly person and pout for a few seconds.) I started out getting the discs from the library but it took too LONG cause they were always checked out so I finally got Netflix and put them all at the top of my queue.
The only thing that sucks is that Season 3 isn't out on DVD and probably won't be for months, because the marketing people in charge of the DVD releases are horrible people who deserve to be buried in a slime pit and forced to eat nasty dried-up licorice.
(Mary McDonnell is the most adorable woman in the world and I so cried when the president was dying but the magic baby thing was a little silly.)
Also I love the recaps at televisionwithoutpity.com, especially the ones by Jacob. He is squeeful and I wish he wrote all the recaps. He makes me laugh and think and I love that it can be both from the same sentence. How does that happen? Good writers are cool and I like them.
Also this weekend I gave my brother Andrew my credit information (just for a few seconds) so he could buy the full version of the videogame Settlers of Catan from XBox Live Arcade, and I played it and had a lot of fun, and now I'm having to talk myself out of buying an XBox for the sole purpose of playing Catan whenever I want to. Because that would be silly and a lot of money. But I still want to do it.
Okay, I think I'm done being gushy now. I'll go back to writing like a normal person.
