Hawaii Five-0 2.03
Oct. 4th, 2011 09:55 amI've decided I should write more reaction posts.
I am watching Hawaii Five-0 now. I'm very, very glad that I only started watching it a month ago or so, so when I reached the end of season 1, I only had to wait a few days to find out what happened and how they fixed things. I really didn't expect to love this show as much as I do. But I do, I really do. THEY ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL. Especially Hawaii.
Danny is my favorite favorite. Steve is my favorite hardass. Danny and Steve are my favorites together. Chin Ho is also my favorite, as he is most definitely the most honorable character ever to cross my TV screen. Kono is my favorite beautiful. Max is my favorite Trekkie. Kamekona is my favorite entrepreneur.
Beginning waterfall scene was gorgeous. It's no wonder this show was honored by the state of Hawaii for helping increase tourism. I want to move to Hawaii now, even though it's apparently much more violent than you'd originally suspect, what with all the drug cartels and murders and terrorism and such. Then again, very hot, beautiful task force keeping the island safe. If you die there, at least you'll get avenged.
Joe is cool (does the actor just live in Hawaii now?), but I want to see Steve and Danny at a shooting range together.
Lori is going to get bitched out by fandom on a regular basis, isn't she? I liked her interactions with the team, though, especially Danny. I think she'll settle in quite well, eventually, but yeah, I'm gonna stay away from H50 fandom. I've already had a reading binge, but I'll probably stick with that.
Way too long into the episode before we got Danny.
"Are you the Walrus?" Danny ILU.
"Why are you blaming yourself?" Steve ILU.
KONO WHAT ARE YOU DOING. D:
This plot was much more interesting than the cult stuff last week.
Max is so adorable. Two sets of sunglasses! He must watch CSI, too.
Scary SEALS are scary. The military should probably approve of this show, too. Intimidation of America's enemies and what-not. That scene was giving me serious thoughts, which distracted somewhat from the pretty.
All in all, not quite enough Danny on my screen, but I'll take it.
And that's all.
