Jars of Clay and Supernatural (A Marriage Made in...Something Good, Anyway. Chocolate?)

I noticed awhile ago, as I was listening to my beloved Jars, that about five songs in a row struck me as being perfectly fitted to this or that Supernatural character. It was a bit eerie, really.

There's "The Widowing Field," which was written for We Were Soldiers, and I'm telling ya, it's about Sam. Sample lyrics:

::wibbles:: OMG, Sam without Dean is the saddest thing EVAR. The song is haunting and gorgeous and it makes my heart beat loud in my chest.
