Author’s Note: Semi-sequel to Entertaining Angels, original flavor, but stands alone. Yeah, this story is pretty much gonna have to go AU now. I started writing it while Season 4 was airing, then lost track of it in canon events and other projects. My original plans, if I had any, are long forgotten. It started out as a light little comedy project to write on the side while I was working on a very heavy and deeply personal Big Bang (The Lights of Home), but the story took a twist somewhere in there down into drama town, so that's where we're going. Hope you like it anyway.

A squalid mountain village growing within the arms of rock like moss on a log, unnecessary and unsightly, teeming with tiny creatures all engrossed completely in their own lives, convinced of their own worth and importance and heedless of the immensity of the universe.  )

Just wrote the end of Book 4, basically the end of the entire Coming Down on a Sunny Day story, though there's still an epilogue to go.

Gah, I am so damn proud of this story.

I don't care if almost no one is reading it. I needed to write it.

I'm basically high on writing now.

And I have to go to bed.
