The Best Meme Ever

I have things that I MUST WRITE, like, for real, and my brain is being all sluggish and noooo, do not want, would rather read amazing SPN fic and watch Venture Bros., because my brain is whiny and fractious like a little kid with a combination of ADHD and Alzheimer's, consistently forgetting that there are things that I MUST WRITE. So help me jump-start muse, plz? This is a fun meme. I took it from other people, such as [livejournal.com profile] aurora_novarum and [livejournal.com profile] astrogirl12. Here tis:

1) Make a list of 15 characters.
2) Assign each character a number.
3) Without telling anyone who's on the list or the character's assigned number, get questions from your flist about what they'd like to know about them. IE: "If 3 and 4 were trapped in a cave together with only a blanket and a toothpick, what would they do?" (The more random the better!)
4) Post the answers and who was who on the list.

I have a list. It is odd and multi-fandom--::counts quickly::--ten fandoms. Though you may rest assured that of course my favorites are on there, because why wouldn't they be? Not telling which numbers, though. So this should be interesting.

Ask questions, plz, as many as you like. I will answer using numbers in the comments so you can guess if you want, and post a reveal with proper names inserted tomorrow.

Sample questions:

If 15 and 1 held a poetry slam, what kind of poetry would they read/write?

7 and 8 have gone both evil AND crazy and declared dominion over a small corner of Wyoming and are lording it over the local citizens. How would they get along and split the responsibilities of their realm? 6 and 13 are tasked with overthrowing them, and also possibly saving them from themselves. How would that go?

1, 3, 7, and 11 are trapped in a time bubble together, for 50 years. Who becomes BFF with whom, who goes nuts, and who finds the way to escape?

ETA: and yeah, okay, sample answers too.

Oh, dude, neither of these are really what I’d call the poetry type. But if they did…

One reads poetry about the vastness of the universe and how everything works together for a reason. It’s long and slow and rhythmic, sort of like listening to ocean waves, and you would find it very soothing and hypnotic, though when it was over you would realize that it didn’t make any sense at all. But you wouldn’t mind because you had gotten to listen to that voice for HOURS, and it was wonderful.

Fifteen’s poetry is sharp and energetic and very, very determined and firm, about how science makes everything possible, except maybe a few things, and impossible battles are still worth fighting when you’re on the side of right. It’s sort of electrifying, and you’d be on your feet cheering along with every impossible, stretched-out rhyme.

Ahhahaha! Okay, I am laughing and laughing at my own question, because these pairs of people… omigoodness. They actually make sense, and that is so weird.

Anyway. Seven and Eight conquer by use of their magnificent, analytical minds. They are very calculating and precise, planning every last detail out before executing their plans, which go off without a hitch. Because even while crazy, these two know exactly how to make things work. Craziness only makes them better at putting things together, because they would go places they hadn’t before. Seven has surveillance equipment everywhere, keeping an eye on the populace and instinctively keeping everyone safe and under control because that’s just how Seven rolls, while Eight is locked in a lab somewhere performing mad experiments and covering every surface with equations and suppositions.

Six and Thirteen get along really, really well. Once it becomes clear that something needs to be done and Seven and Eight have to be stopped, they combine forces and become a library-devouring research MACHINE. Six has flashes of insight and understanding, while Thirteen is keenly aware of how the world works, and also how to use every single kind of gun. They attempt to reason with Seven and Eight at first, appealing to their morality and sense of fair play, but if that fails they take them down without hesitation and without even scuffing their shoes.

Three has dealt with plenty of weird stuff and doesn’t have much of a problem with the thing, though frustrated with the lack of things to do. One just sits down and, I dunno, meditates or something until it all goes away. Three mostly gets along with everyone just on general principal, and bands together with Seven to make snarky comments. Seven is vastly irritated by the situation, but appreciates the eye-candy that One presents, and also has long conversations with Three making fun of everything in the universe. Eleven tries to manipulate them all into following Eleven like a god, but One ignores him, Three insults him, and Seven kicks him in the nuts. And so, deeply angered by the ordeal, Eleven discovers the way out and goes off in a huff to find some other world to dominate. (Eleven does it, too.)
