I only really have one thing to say, and I'm pretty sure most of us are probably thinking the same thing. But when has being completely unoriginal ever stopped me before? Never, that's when.
Oh, crap, Dean. He doesn't even get the kindness of forgetting.
I hurt for him, a lot a lot.
And poor Sam. He wants to help so, so much, but Dean doesn't think that he can. Dean has never thought that talking helps anything, though, so it's not like he's a reliable witness on these matters. Sharing your burdens HAS to help somehow, because what else is there? This is the same thing every victim of trauma says--Why bother talking, it won't help anything. Better to just push it all down and pretend it doesn't exist. Don't knock it till you've tried it, kid. I used to think the same thing.
Sam wants to know. He really, really does. It will hurt him too, but at least then Dean wouldn't be alone.
Really liked Sam noticing and pushing, though. That's our Sam.
The only other thing that really stood out for me in the episode was what Sam would wish for. ::shivers:: He was smart, too, knowing that it wouldn't be real. Sam is so world-weary, now, so knowledgeable. No longer the sweet, naive kid we used to know. That hurts, too.
Yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say.
